Many thanks! Our son mentioned last month that he wouldn't be opposed to marriage anymore. (

). He is thinking of having her move in with him. As it is, she spends Wednesday nights there, and Friday to Monday afternoons, too. She has a kitty cat problem, and once that issue is solved, she will move in. They both hate the idea that the ex once lived there, so our son may look for another house. Everything is up in the air for now.

It must be. I've seen French people who had multiple names. That was a few hundred years ago though. I didn't know it was still the practice. That's totally awesome! It would be great to have another lawyer in the family. Can't have too many of them.

I've only heard of multiple names in books I've read. I don't believe I know anyone with 5. If the kids marry, she will have 6!

Right! I had no idea how many different specializations one could have in law until my son went to law school. One choice was securities and another was securitization. Very confusing for me. lol

@DianneN I only know of a couple, criminal and civil. More than that and I would be completely lost. More research would be needed if I need to get into it in a book, or maybe I could just talk to one of your kids.

Congratulations! My youngest is a lawyer. She is a judge and is it hadn´t been for the COVID, she´d been aiming for the Court. Our legal system is different from yours though.
