Moonlight over Puget Sound last night

I lived in Seattle for a year and loved the views up there. Near my house, you could see the Olympics to the West, and the Cascades to the East. To the Southeast was Mt. Rainier. I believe my music buddy Michael took this one last night from Puget Sound. He is up there for a week, boating with his son. My life is a bit more mundane right now, but I might be heading back up to Montana soon. How has your day been?

@TheHorse It is rare we lose power here but it happens with the strong lightning sometimes.

@jvicentevalera Wow, that sounds tighter than here (in California). I've always been able to go grocery shopping, as long as I wear my mask. And I can get food to go at local restaurants. How did you get groceries at the "worst" part of the lockdown?

@TheHorse becuase the lockdown is finally over in my neighborhood. From Monday, Sept 7th we can go out without a "pass" now I can go for a walk, jog, or just to catch some fresh air! We were just able to go out for grocery shopping, among others.

@TheHorse That's pretty much a myth. Seattle proper is not generally pretty. North of there, yes it is pretty.

Heh. It was cloudy and cool here. So I got some new tires on my Chevy p/u and got about eight miles of cycling in (while waiting for the work to be done).

great day so far - I used to work for a Seattle Based Company, I was there all the time. When the weather was nice, it is gorgeous. in the fall with the daily rain, not as much.
