So I just read the story about Pelosi and her salon visit. From what I know so far the issue is she had them open even though they are not suppose to be opened and that she was not wearing a mask. Now first I will say I have not seen a lot of detail about it and what is true or not I am not sure. Some say that she had them open just for her against the local rules. but I guess she is claiming that the salon said they could open for individuals. But as we have seen before with her, she believes the rules do not apply to her. Also so remember she was the one who said you have to sign the bill into law before you can find out what is in the bill. I also like that she said, "I just had my hair washed. I don't wear a mask when I'm washing my hair. Do you wear a mask when you're washing your hair? I always wear a mask,". I like that she added I always wear a mask, how many times have we seen video and pictures of her without a mask. Like almost every one is her without a mask. So I'm not sure what all that means to everyone but I just shows me there is another politician living under their own rules, they just do what they want. They don't think the rules for all, apply to them.

Pelosi is almost single-handedly destroying the democratic party. And it's no hidden secret that she is nothing more than a power-hungry career politician who doesn't give a crap about the American people, and she will do anything she can and whatever it takes to stay in power.

@Bensen32 You are right, there are a ton of people who support her. But if you think back to the Obama administration, John Boehner was the same thing on the republican side. A lot of people followed him too. The problem with people like Pelosi and Boehner is that they don't believe in compromise, which is a necessity in Washington.

@moffittjc Yeah, I don't remember him being as bad as she is though. Maybe, he wasn't or maybe I just agreed with him more than her, which is not that hard since I don't agree with her about anything.

I think you summed this up very well. I m always amazed at people who can run a country but cannot manage to wash their own hair at home. Or in the motel if they are away from home. Whether we believe masks work or not, we at the school are respecting the rules. We do, when socially distant, take a breather, but we will wear our masks when we are with kids.

I don't like wearing the mask either but when I go somewhere and they have a rule that they need to be worn, I wear them. If that is the rule it should apply to all including politicians.
