Heads taken at the West Australian endurance ride

We are home from attending an endurance ride where we took photos of the horses and their riders. I’ve put up a collage of horses’ heads what I took. Can you spot the odd one? That is Caris, the corgi dog, that always has a smile for people. She belongs to the couple who travel to almost every endurance ride and provide a canteen for those attending. They make the best hamburgers for miles around. They cook the hamburgers, then present it in a bun with onions and you then add the salads yourself from a selection in a coolbox. The ride went well; the sun shone all day which was a bonus as it has been gently raining all morning today. We’re processing photos now; at least Vince is and then they’ll go up on our website. And now I can spend some time here again.

The odd one looks more eager to run than the participants themselves.

I don't think Caris could run very far. She is a bit overweight!!!

I had to scroll up and read the title but I can understand now. Luckily I didn't make it 'heads roll'!

@Ronrybs Here's a model of one of da Vinci's proposed war machines. Wouldn't that mow people down?

They were so lucky with the weather. It was fine all day on the Saturday but rained all day Sunday.

Why they add onions when they can be mixed in the salad itself? Hello Caris.

That's just the way it's done. You can have it without onion if you want or there is raw onion in the salad box.

It’s good feeling that you are able to go around places already. l think that those are nice pictures of horse there and the corgi too knows how to pose.

@JudyEv Yeah before we take it for granted but now that lockdowns are implemented traveling seems quite a luxury in our place.

How funny @JudyEv cats do something similar, sometimes they smell something that's familiar and they'll open their mouths shortly after.

The bottom right is something they do if they smell something funny. Stallions do it too when sussing out if a mare is ready to be mated.

Thanks. I'm pleased for them - and us - that it was a fine day. It's much more fun if it's sunny than if it rains.

Caris looks so happy, doesn't she? It's not my favourite name for a dog - or a person - but she is very cute.
