Tomorrow is Marcia´s day to come.

I am thinking about asking her to come twice this week so that we can clean the house and have everything ready for the barbecue with my friends.
I have to think about the future too if Marcia is going to come in a permanent basis. Leticia does not get up from bed before 11 am or noon. I know because I learned when to call her. She still eats diet and she told me that she was going to be a great grand mother. It seems that she is slowly retiring to a relaxed life.
I will talk to Marcia about the future and see if she can also help me a bit with the garden.
For the moment, there is still a lot of work to do here.

I do not need any house help now since I only have a small two-room apartment. Back in Latvia, I could have used some help since the house was old and rambling and there were two stories. It always took me three hours to clean from top to bottom if I did not take a break and that included watching the stairs,

I cannot keep my house as I like it now. I am only living in the first floor because I cannot climb the stairs.

it's good to have a house help if you have too much cleaning to be done and you find it difficult to do it due to old age or health issues or no one in the family to help you out. But getting a trust worthy help is difficult.

I don't have any help but I manage okay. Cleaning the bathrooms is what I hate most.

I hope Marcia can help you with everything that you need. Our little housekeeper is my husband's second cousin. She had surgery and is recovering. When she works for us she comes in for 3 hours twice a month. Neither my husband nor I can do the housecleaning anymore.
