September 9 - What I'm thankful for today.

It's been a good day. It's raining! 
I have a couple of things to be thankful for as usual.
I'm thankful for sleeping in this morning. I think I only got up once during the night, so that was good. I got 6.5 hours of sleep.
I'm thankful for the workout I got this morning. I had all my steps before 7 AM. I'm well over that now with the walking I did in the mall earlier.
I'm thankful I got my new glasses yesterday, see picture above, and have them adjusted. They're looking good.
I'm thankful I have all the notifications finished. I enjoyed my time here today visiting with you and seeing what's happening in your world.
I'm thankful I spent time with my younger son when I got my glasses adjusted. @DianneN I had one of those seal/goose laughs on the way home. My son couldn't get on the ramp to the highway. The geese wouldn't let him. He honked at them and yelled at them. One even hung his head in shame, at least that's what it looked like. It was so funny the way they held up traffic. His yelling made me laugh and he said I didn't need to sound like them, which made me laugh even more.
Okay, that's a snapshot of my day. I'm going to get off the computer, get something to eat, and watch TV and relax. No, I'm not going to work on Vendetta. My back has had it with sitting here.

I also had exercise today, which i hope i can continue. I' m also thankful that my Mom kept cooking my food three meals a day and helping me eat healthy.

havin' ya some geese troubles, eh? my 'pologies, but i'm glad i'd not taken a sip 'f beverage coz i'd most likely now be cleanin' such off the puter, lol. congrats'n those new specs! rain...i jest don't wanna talk 'bout 't. hope yer back 'tis feelin' better. big hugs!

@just4him 've not seen/heard any geese here yet, 'n now i know why - they're still hangin' out 'p north, lol.
uhm, nice'd not be the words i'd fer this weather change. 'twas 'brupt, bad timin' 'n those winds. mercy...hopefully we'll be back'n the 80's soon. whilst ya love cold weather, my body jest says no. big hugs!

I'm glad I gave you a good chuckle. They've been everywhere lately. I think they're feeding to get ready for the flight south.

I'm glad I made you laugh. There were three geese blocking the ramp. There were a lot more ready to cross. When he honked the horn, instead of those three moving, the others started a nice long line in front of the car making it impossible and caused laughter to spark and take hold. It was hilarious. I had one of my moments and to have him give me that look because I was laughing so hard, well it made it even worse for me, I couldn't contain myself. It'll be a while before I forget that incident.

@porwest I'm not. My son is. But this chair comes with a massage pillow and with my back what it is, it comes in handy. Can you believe someone actually confused me with being a Patriots fan? Shame on them. There's only one team for me. I'm Green and Gold all the way. This is the only color the chair came in.
