I HOLD my BREATH when Face Mask Fell Off

Today, I went to a nearby grocery store. I am complete in full gear with a face mask and face shield. While I am going to every gondola, my face shield needs to be fixed on my face. When I am adjusting it, my face mask fell off. Guess what? I did not gasp air and hold my breath for a few seconds. Did you ever do this? Are you in a panic mode? Image Credit: i.guim.co.uk

Thankfully we're not obliged to wear masks here.

@Shavkat Our only cases are coming in from overseas and they go straight into quarantine.

No, if it falls down or something I don’t try to hold my breath. The lonely hood in that second of me getting some is supper low unless someone coughs in my face at that second.

That's really not a good thing to cough near or in front of us. It is a good thing that it is a quick holding of breath.

@Shavkat I don’t think holding your breath because it’s not in all the way is the best solution. Definitely not good for you if your a person with asthma lets just quickly fill our lungs and hold our breath and deprive our body of air and cause an asthmatic attract to come on because your mask slip. 5 seconds it takes it fix it your not gong to inhale anhale anything really. Like said unless your next to someone that decide at that time to cough or sneeze your face which I doubt will happen at that same time.

not really.. i don't think it is airborne.. i hope so. I think the mask isn't even needed if we have the face shield and no one is near, at least 2 meter distance.

@Shavkat It is mandatory in most establishments here too... which is fine, the safer the better.

I agree with you. Wearing a face mask is fine to use. It is enough to be protected with respiratory droplets. However, the establishment requires to wear a face mask and shield. The local government is in a panic with this idea.

You know what. There is new signage in grocery stores and that is, ' No Face Mask, No Entry' and No Face Shield, No Entry.'

It's good to hold breath for some reason. I do the same way even when virus is not there,if i smell over perfume or bad smell,i used to hold my breath.

I know the fact that coronavirus is not an airborne virus. But then, it is still considered a respiratory problem. So it is better to have extra cautious. I am also like you when smelling the perfume of someone in the public.
