Just another day, nothing exciting going on around here. I really have no plans for the day that I can come up with right now.
I did notice that some new people that moved into our building are one of those I can not understand at all. So first let me say that the apartments we live in are pretty standard for this area. Nothing to expensive but not in the slums either. So what does that have to do with anything. Well over the last week that they been here I noticed the two cars they drive. Both cars are newer and one is a Alfa Romeo SUV and the other is a BMW. I guess I am assuming they are making payments on these. I often wonder why someone would buy so expensive of a car and not put that money towards something else. Like get two cheaper cars and put that extra money towards a house?
Maybe it's just me that thinks that way.
Well have a good day.

Maybe they are new to the area?? Just guessing. Maybe they are taking their time looking for a house. Some people are pretty committed to renting too. I have some relatives that had plenty of money but never owned a house until they were probably in their 60's. I don't get it actually...but I guess it suited them.

I do get that, I mean I owned a house back when and I got divorced and the housing market crashed at the same time, we barely broke even on the house after I did a ton of work on it, So I am a little worried about getting another house so I just rent. At least I know what I am losing doing this.

Maybe they are relocating and renting temporarily?
Hope they're nice neighbors

I see this happen all the time. The people who can least afford expensive cars are the ones driving around the most expensive brands. People just don't understand how to prioritize things in their life. Just like when I was working for the city, people would come in to register their kids for summer camp, and then ask for scholarship assistance because they couldn't afford the weekly camp rate for their kids. Yet they had $100 hair jobs, $100 nails, gold jewelry all over their body, $200 Nike shoes, and Mercedes cars. People just have messed-up priorities.

I guess that could be it. It just wonders if people like that just want to show the world they have money but in reality they only have enough to pay for their flashy cars and that is about it. I know many people out there that try to make it seem like they have a lot more money than they actually do. Kind of makes me laugh.

@DianneN I mean if people can afford them and the rest of their life is equal in quality more power to them but it's the ones that buy really expensive car or say clothes but then they live in a shack that makes no sense to me. I mean it's their money they can spend it like they want, it just never made sense to me.
