California Wildfires Are Man-Made

Okay. Let me be clear here. So, the California wildfires are actually a naturally occurring event. But, they are also a man-made event. I think this is an important distinction to be made here as we discuss this. Wildfires are nothing more than part of nature's way of cleaning things up, making soil more nutrient rich, and clearing the way for fresh underbrush and foresting to occur. Something that used to occur in the past was something called 'deforesting.' This was simply a foresting management initiative that was enacted largely as areas became more populated that were prone to this naturally occurring event. Bright minds got together and figured out that they could manage the forest in a way that would still accomplish the goal of the natural event, but also protect people and property from the devastating effects of it actually occurring. Over the past 40 or 50 years, however, minds and mindsets have changed. As a result, deforesting and forest management has changed greatly over this period of time. The result? Massive wildfires and massive damage to property and human life in those areas prone to the naturally occurring event. I know my next statement will roll eyes and might even get a few eyes scattling the heck out of here. But it is the truth. Hear me out. It is the LIBERAL environmental agenda which has caused ALL of this. And so, yes. While it is true that the wildfires are NATURAL. They are also MAN-MADE. The wildfires are almost entirely a result of liberal policy, and it is making the lives of countless Americans intolerable and unbearable, and it is also having a massive economic impact as well. The news media will NOT tell you this, though. They are more likely to tell you that these wildfires are a result of climate change or global warming. Neither of these are the case. We USED to clear the underbrush as part of our forestry maintenance process. We used to MANAGE the forests in a way that would remove the conditions conducive to fire. We USED to remove dead brush and trees in an effort to remove the STUFF that fuels the fires. If we did have fires, and of course we still WOULD, at least we could better manage those fires and better contain them, because a lot of the fuel was not there for these fires to simply spread. The simple fact is that liberals were MORE interested in protecting the tree frogs and other animals, and things like natural prairie and whatever else, that what they did instead is put all life in danger. I truly do feel for the people of California. The wildfires are worse than they have ever been. But unless people understand why things are the way they are now, and will only get worse if things stay this way... The state will only continue to burn, and no one will be able to live in that state anymore without accepting wildfires as something as commonplace as an afternoon rain shower.

It's crazy what's been happening with all these wild fires. Could it also be that someone is actually physically starting the fire?

@porwest It would be a shame if someone started it. But maybe we are to blame as we are not doing enough to prevent these fires from happening.

@lovebuglena That is the BIGGEST part of the issue. The RAGING fires we face now are a direct result of liberal policies against foresting efforts. But they won't tell you that of course. They prefer to tell you that this is a result of global warming. The TRUTH is we had natural fires for many, many years BEFORE we managed the forests due to populations needing to be protected from them. Fires were LESS with the management programs. Now the fires are MORE because we do not manage the forests. Instead of telling us that the media simply says NOW we have more fires and it must be due to global warming or climate change instead of telling us we are just returning to the way things were BEFORE we managed the forests.

There MAY be some of that going on. But I think most of it is just happening on its own. Maybe George Soros has thrown a couple matches in? Not sure. lol

It is sad that the government does nothing and that the affected people keep electing the same fools back into office who are responsible for allowing the fires to happen in the first place.

Even those these facts are true it is hard reading this if you have lost everything you own. They are blaming it on climate change. Very sad.

I feel for anyone who has lost anything. But when it comes to liberal policy there are a LOT of things people lose and I feel for all of them. One of the things I have always found liberal policies are very good at is stripping you from things. It IS very sad.
