September 14 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin. It was a very good day today, made even better by those green dollar signs I see above. I have a lot to be thankful for today.
I'm thankful I could go back to bed this morning. I wanted to sleep in when I got up. I'll need to be up early tomorrow. I'm going to get my cards back from him and take the opportunity to get groceries tomorrow. I can do that on this restriction and it will feel good to get out of the apartment for a little while. He's taking a road trip with his girlfriend so he's letting me have the car for a couple of days. I know some of you aren't aware, he needs my car for work since his car isn't working. When I have my surgery, I won't be driving for a while.
I'm thankful I got all my fitness goals met. With proper food and diet, I will conquer this weight problem.
I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on Vendetta. The revision is much better than the original. I'm very happy with it.
I'm thankful I have my gastro appointment made for November. I thought I already had an appointment, but a look at the calendar showed nothing. It's taken care of and I hope it won't interfere with any of the therapy in November. This is an important appointment. It's my yearly exam and I need to talk to him about a possible change in medication. My infusion was last week and I'm having trouble I haven't seen since the early days of this disease when we were changing medications every couple of months. I hope after all this time, I only need to increase or decrease the dosage. When I went onto this medication, it was the last option.
Okay, that's a snapshot of my day. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

That is a real blessing. I wish I didn't need them. Until I was diagnoses with this disease, I wasn't taking anything. Other than preparation for surgery, I'm only taking two plus the infusion. One is once a week. The other is Vitamin D3.

@LadyDuck The doctor prescribed it several years ago when I was working in the call center and didn't have direct sun for many hours a day. I was on a very heavy dose at that time. Now, it's a once a day tablet, still prescribed.

@crazyhorseladycx You shouldn't feel guilty.
If anyone does, it should be me. I pulled the seat back straight up this morning and now it won't move. He likes it slightly reclined. That car gives him so much trouble.

Good to know there's something else. We'll see what he says. I'm also praying the last infusion starts working.
He should be here in about half an hour or a little more. I'll take him home and bring the car back.
I totally agree with your story.

Thank you. I hope it's worked out too. I've been hoping it was getting better. I don't think that right now. I have a feeling I'm going to have that colonoscopy sooner than I want.
I'm glad your younger stopped by unexpectedly and brought a pretty white gourd. Perfect for fall decorations.
