Dinner was a treat......

As I mentioned in last post my daughters were all in baking mood to enjoy their free weekend. After the yummy coconut cookies that I posted in earlier post, they baked chocolate cookies. They baked enough to store it in cookie jar. It should last for a week or more unless they choose to hog on it
.
I have not tasted the chocolate cookies so far. If my blood sugar levels tomorrow morning is good, I am going to treat myself with one of them with my morning tea. Today I had one coconut almond cookies and that should be enough for the day.
And for dinner, they made stuffed pleated breads. I have shared the picture here of those coming hot out of oven.
. It was yummy loaded with veggies. And they used healthy multigrain flour to make it more healthy
So while I was hoping for just a decent meal, I got a treat.
I was busy helping younger one with her test preparation after dinner. And I have made two lesson plans ready for October.
That kept me away from here in the evening.
Now it's 10:40 PM. All done for the day... Dishes cleaned and kitchen clean. My online order of grocery also go delivered in the evening. But I have left it unpacked. I will sanitize, unpack and arrange them in shelves tomorrow afternoon.
Now for rest one hour I will be here mylotting
. Husband and elder one are watching cricket. For Cricket lovers, IPL tournament is back in this pandemic with empty stadium. I am just here to accompany him and switching myself between the game and mylot
.

They were delicious. They made a perfect inside filling with good enough veggies. They put a lot of effort there and the outcome was worth it.
I do the same. Passive watching with mylotting or something to give him company. And if it's nail biting match I get the excitement

Multigrain Pleated Breads! - They look awesome! Also, they looked a bit like Croissants until I took a closer look.
Yes the IPL is back, and that makes for new cricket discussions now.

IPL is back. Happy to see husband getting interested in something. Was bored of watching old games of cricket and soccer. But he is missing the crowd in stadium and seems all players have put on some weight
This is similar to croissants... The presentation is different.. And filling can be anything veg, non veg, sweet or spicy as one wishes for.

@crazyhorseladycx They did a good job and I can't take any credit in that other than allowing them to use the kitchen and ingredients freely

It was quite delicious. They put so much effort making the inside filling of veggies and this pleating design did come out neat. One was good enough to make us full.
