Mornings Just Got Better in my World

Many new birds are visiting the backyard feeder and peanuts. We still have a few warm days to come. But for now the mornings are my favorite again for being in the screen room. One of my favorite Eeyore mugs was full of coffee. The perfect combination. Coffee and cool weather. 50s this morning was nice. Hoping things will soon improve all over the world. A screen room sounds divine. My porch was screened once but my husband boarded it up. It is a little cooler here. It has been ghastly hot for months.

@CarolDM I wish I could get it screened again. I did enjoy it but he boarded it up because a big hurricane was headed this way. He is gone now and I am not handy at fixing things and get too tired even if I tried.

Good Morning! Such a crisp morning but I am also enjoying these temperatures. Nothing like a warm cuppa to make the day better. I wish I could enjoy a cuppa myself.

@CarolDM Messes with my cycles. I already have some months that are bad. I'm hoping this keto diet will help correct that problem though.

I am trying to hold onto to some kind of belief Jose. I know things have to get better soon. Seeing the birds and cooler weather just make my day for sure. The little things in life.

@CarolDM Oh Carol, don't worry if you don't believe in anything. I do respect you, and I'll never judge you. Sometimes in life one lives certain situations that make us hesitate to what to believe. Personally I need to believe in something, I need a way out of so much selfishness in the world, so God to me represents life, hope, positive energy, and it makes me keep going. Maybe your belief is seeing the birds being free and alive.

It has been cooler here too, but lows only in the mid 60's. I wish it would freeze and stay just like it is now. As you know, I don't like cold weather!!

@CarolDM I don't mind the cooler too much but the cold makes the Fibro go into a flare and I hurt all over. So summer is my favorite!

aw, gettin' ya some migratin' birds who've a case 'f the hangries, eh? the hubs 'twas talkin' 'bout cover the pond (i bought a net fer such years 'go...) to keep my workload down (aka: leave removal). i asked him where'd the birds drink from? take their chilly baths? how many feral cats'd get caught'n such? yep, he'll not be coverin' the pond. i've that hope 's well. don't see 't happenin' though. too many changes humans need to make, the lessons not yet learnt.

@CarolDM sigh, i miss cardinals 'n so many others from yer neck 'f the woods! i see the males oft durin' the summer coz they feed the whole family 'til i reckon they feel 'tis safe to leave the babes. i know i oopsed'n got close to where they nested coz i really got the what fer. jest dunno which tree...

So far the cardinals and blue jays are coming around. Funny because they are here year round. But they hide and distance themselves with babies until this time of year.
