Great Start to the Day....

Well walking him to school gave me a 30 min walk already...but still. Stuck at home otherwise. My grandpa was the mechanic in the family but he's so sick right now. Thank you...it was only up a bit...but was hoping for a loss. Abd I checked my sugar after I walked and after being stressed out...so that's probably why it was up. Hopefully for you it's not a bad thing that it doesn't feel like Friday!

@MommyOfEli2013 Yes, stress will do that to you. I'm hoping you can find someone to fix the vehicle soon. I"m sorry your grandfather is so sick right now.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Well apparently my grandmother's friend is coming over...we will see if she can help. Yes stress can for sure. It's unfortunate And thank you...i am sorry too..he might have cancer

It wouldn't start; the battery was bad. Our neighbor charged it though and we were able to get to the auto-parts store and they replaced the battery. I was very annoyed lol

@jvicentevalera Yes, it is fixed and won't have to worry about it during the winter now. I think the battery price will vary depending on the car, and year of the car. Mine was 110 in american currency.

@MommyOfEli2013 Oh, well the issue is fixed now. I wonder how much is a car battery in the USA?

@MommyOfEli2013 My father was a gifted mechanic, until he got old. Then, his hands were getting crippled and too weak to turn a wrench.

Yes they are....unfortunately. My grandpa, the mechanic can't help currently

@kobesbuddy That's great that he was a great mechanic until he got older. My grandpa's mind just is not there to do that kind of stuff now

It was a bad battery, got it replaced with the help of a family friend and a neighbor. True, we did get him to school on time, but didn't intend on going on a 30 minute walk that early in the morning LOL

@FayeHazel Yes it was, think it was the only exercise I got for that day LOL....but I am glad it was too, and that we had a neighbor to charge our battery so we could get to the Autozone

@MommyOfEli2013 I hope she does well with the surgery. You will all me in my thoughts.

Well the car got fixed, and went out to lunch. However, got news that my great-grandmother needs surgery because she isn't getting better after being in the hospital for a week. She's 96, so it's scary.

That would be frustrating, especially when realizing the next day that it was not Saturday!

@MommyOfEli2013 Yes, I read about the car. Glad that it wasn't anything major.

@LindaOHio I am so glad too....and that it was fixed before I had to go pick up Eli from school!

Made a new post about the car. It got fixed. The other two...not today

Is that a good or bad thing? Lol. The day improved some, although I got some not great news so not sure.
