No Grand celebration for the city fiesta

It would be very colorful and merry during this time in our city but because it is under on a strict quarantine, the city looks lifeless and all the events and competitions are missed though the novena still takes place and being broadcast so that people can watch it live. Maybe, some homes will still have food preparations on their tables on the culminating day as thanksgiving but not the same as the previous years as most of the people have difficulty for their earnings brought by the pandemic.

It's OK for me not to celebrate yet. This is a little sacrifice for tough times.

Don't feel so bad it's not only your fiesta, this virus has probably messed up thousands of traditions that had been with people worldwide for hundreds if not thousands of years. At least there is still a semblance of it going on.

Yes, I understand that. We are all affected and we couldn't think of others for now but our safety.

Probably we will be doing it here. It's just only a family affair.

All public celebrations have been canceled here too, but people celebrate at home.
