I May be Weak from Hunger, but Not Too Weak to Vote!

Our vote by mail ballots arrived in today’s mail. They are filled out, sealed, and ready to be mailed out tomorrow! Even though we have a house in Connecticut where we are living, we are residents of Florida and registered to vote there. Hubs and I were worried we wouldn’t receive our mail-in ballots, so planned on driving to Florida to vote. I hope our choice for President of the U.S.A. wins!

Sounds good. We didn't want to have to drive over 3000 miles back and forth through Covidland. The good thing is that we can track our ballots online.

I hope so too! Last week one of the House of Representatives proposed a no election on 2022. That was the worst I've heard. 2022 is a presidential election and we are all looking feared to that day! I heard an interview from one congressman during the weekend as to this proposal and he said it'll never be approve in congress as the rest of the congress don't agree with this. Of course it wouldn't be approved because it would mean extending the term of a. political officer which is of course not allowed. And that would be depriving us of our right to suffrage as well.

I got my mail in ballot last week. I just have to get it notarized. Since my dad is a notary, all I have to do is wait for him to get back from a trip.

@DianneN It used to be all you had to do was get two different citizens to sign the envelope. It changed this year to having to get it notarized. I prefer the previous way. It was easier for everybody.

I can send you some of my bargain buys if you want. Hunger no more. What is the form like? Is it just a straightforward choice between the two or are more voting issues included in the form I have never seen an American Ballot paper

Yes, it lists all the candidates running for various offices. Just fill in a bubble next to your choice, fold, insert into postage paid envelope, seal, and sign your name and date. I'm fasting for Yom Kippur. All good.

I'm glad you're ignoring the "noise". Mail-In Ballots are not new and Americans have been using them for years! The process starts with you and I believe that the vote counters and everybody else involved in the voting process will do their patriotic duty. Because no matter what is said in the media or on social media, I still have faith that the majority of US love our country and are not willing to allow it to be destroyed from without or within.
