There´s nothing worse than to climb on a scale. Most of the tome you wish you hadn´t even if the scale doesn´t treat you that bad. I know that the amount of extra weight I have is due to my not doing any exercise. I am a theorethical work out ist. I wake up every morning with the words "I should" and then I turn on the TV, open the lap top and try to forget my aching feet. The most I do is to congratulate all the mylotters who workout and swimm every day. They are awesome! I have this extra pound that comes and goes. It is a pound that is just in the line between one tenth and the other. If I go down, I feel it is the begining of another era. If I gain it, I visualise myself as an obese woman although I have a long road to get there. Do you have "conversations" with your weight? What do you do to lose weight?

My only workout is walking and the up and down the stairs so many times in one day, but finally all those steps surely help to keep slim. To lose weight? I cut on fats, very little butter and oil, smaller portions, but I do not renounce to a little piece of chocolate.

I don´t eat a lot, considering my height. My worst problem is the lack of exercise.

@marguicha I am right back from the garden, I mowed, pruned some trees and added the mulch on the roots of the trees that fear the cold. I move a lot during the day.

I always try to have conversation with my weight but my weight is so rude and does not want to be disturbed.

I'm pretty happy when I get on the scale, even if it's a pound or two either way.

@DianneN I´d love to be in a weight in the middle between the one I have now and the one I had until I was around 50.

@marguicha To be honest, I wouldn't mind being much thinner, but I'm at a healthy weight and my clothes fit.

Don't worry about one pound. It's probably just water weight. I have great difficulty losing weight because I can't get around. The only thing I can do is cut back on what I eat.

I can relate to this post. When I got Chile I weighted 72 kilos, but when the pandemic started I spent so much time eating stuff that had sugar, also ordered junk food, among others. I ended up weighting 83 kilos. I barely fit in my pants, and its gotten a little uncomfortable. So I borrowed a spinning bike, like the ones you use at home, and I have been using it since last Saturday. 40 minutes a day will do the trick to help me back to my weight.

I would be happy going back to 72 kilos. I had them a few years ago.

I have just been watching how much I eat to keep from gaining. I fluctuate about 3 pounds up or down on any day.

It's not an easy road to lose weight. It takes determination, a good diet, and exercise. I've been on Whole30 and Paleo for the past four years. I don't celebrate the small victories. Some is a matter of water weight that has come off and will go back on again. I celebrate when I've gotten to a new low. It takes a while to get there.
