Going to Park to Visit Cotton the Owl

When all the laundry and other things are done, it is such a beautiful day to take a ride to the park. The photo above was taken a few years ago when the park ranger was giving an introduction to Cotton, the rescued owl. They take good care of Cotton. I hope to see her today, along with his new friend. Will get photos if I do. Enjoy your day.

I remember your speaking about Cotton, the rescued owl at the local park. What a wonderful experience, to visit him in his safe, sheltered home!

@CarolDM OK, it's definitely a female, which I had forgotten. She's beautiful, thank God they rescued her from being killed:) Two American Eagles were rescued on the banks of the Saginaw River. They were both very sick. After about a year's time, they were released into the wild:) This article was on the front page of a local newspaper. People who stood by watching were thrilled!

She is a barred owl. Yes we have the barn owls too, they are smaller.
