Another puma has come down to visit us.
It was just caught and the first news about it is that she (it is a she puma) was VERY thin.
She will be checked to see if she has a chip , will be taken care of for some days as she was bruised and then will be taken back to the wilderness.
The pumas (mountain lions) have come down to the city more often. It is not known whether it has to do with less noise due to the lockdown or plain hunger due to drought for a long time.
The puma was taken in a video and it is beautiful. I wish we knew how to care for them.

@marguicha You are right, the fact that the pollution decreased so much during the lockdown, clearly prove that humans are the cause of pollution, no matter what some politicians declared.

Here there was a big job done so that it was captured unharmed. But if we take the habitat away from the pumas, they will die anyway.

They are beautiful, what a shame that she wasn't finding enough food!

I'm sorry to hear that the puma was thin and bruised. I am glad that they will take care of her before releasing her.

This could be due to lockdowns and may be drought situation as well. We too heard of some wild animals venturing into cities. Some were seen after a very very long time.
