A Beautiful Day in my Neck of the Woods ~ Literally

I do live around the woods, not actually IN it.
This morning hubby and I went hiking in it. There is a trail right off our backyard. We hiked various trails, and before returning home, we hiked to my favorite place, the waterfall.
It’s a sunny warm morning, which I love. Even my hibiscuses love it and are still blooming. Thought you’d enjoy a flower that I expected to be long gone by now.

I had one yesterday, when the water heater started leaking.

@wolfgirl569 Thanks. It returned in about 5 hours and the generator helped tremendously. Thank goodness the tree didn't knock out the power.

That sounds like a great deal! So is your house in an area away from the main city areas? Did you catch any snap of the waterfall?

I hope you reached back safely. It gets dark early on from end September so you might need to plan your next trail more carefully and a bit early.

It was nice until it got cloudy in the early evening, rained, got windy, and lost our power. 
Yes, our house is far from the city in a small town.
