October 13 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. Last night I thought about asking my sister to come up today for a visit. I called her this morning.
I'm thankful for the time I had with my sister today. She was here for four hours. I think we talked about everything and some things more than once. It was so good to have her here. She said next week she'll come and pick me up and we'll go for a ride to see the fall colors. They should be at peak by then.
I'm thankful for the fitness goals I did today. I got all nine of my hourly steps. Tomorrow I'm going to work on getting some exercise and see how many steps I can get. Right now I have over 4000 steps.
I'm thankful my sister called to let me know she would be here in the afternoon. It gave me time to ice my knee and my back together. I got a short nap at the same time.
I'm thankful for the time I was here today. I'm going to try to take care of more notifications and interact before I need to eat. It's after 5 but I'm not hungry right now, so I'll interact with you all.

It's nice that your sister came for the afternoon. Visiting with kind family members is good therapy, to keep us encouraged. It's a very nice photo:)

wonderful she's gonna come fet'cha next week to see all the beauty that'll hopefully be bountiful.
congrats'n ya gettin' all that'n, 's well 's the ice'n nap.
's the day progressed, such got better. spent o'er'n hour jest sittin' out'n the back porch. 'njoyin' the calm 's barely a leaf fluttered. the ferals lazed 'round, pup sprawled't my side.

I'm thankful the contractor cancelled the demolition of our old deck due to rain. I was able to read and nap and feel great now. Headache is 98% gone!

Those are good things to be thankful for.
Me: Having a good day, myself. Nice cooling weather, despite the heat during the day. Getting in a good workout. beating my goal today and still climbing.

I am glad you and your sister had some good bonding time today. I hope it will be a beautiful day next week when you go drive and look at the colors.
I am thankful for the sunshine. After 4 days of constant rain, it was a welcoming sight. I am thankful that colder weather is heading our way. I am ready for it. Have a blessed evening
