Fresh Air

Do you let fresh air come inside your bedroom window for at least 15 minutes before you go to bed?
It has become our habit letting fresh air inside before we go to sleep. We open our window a bit during summer when we are sleeping. Yes, it is dangerous but we are living in the first floor and no one can climb inside.
During cold season, like now in Autumn, we open our window for about 15 minutes and let the fresh air come inside and then we close it before we sleep. It is then freezing cold but sleeping is good.
I don't know if it is only a German tradition of opening the window for fresh air before sleeping. Maybe in the other European countries, too.
Anyway, I have closed the window now and I have to be done with Mylotting. I was 3 hours on Mylot for my notifications and interacting. I am not all done yet. I have to continue tomorrow. Thanks for reading.
The photo is the calamondin or calamansi fruit in my living room.

I used to open the window in the bedroom, but, when I got an air purifier you are not supposed to open the windows because it will do its thing if you do. Glad no one can climb in your window when you are sleeping so can open it a bit.
I love the picture.

@thelme55 People are not allowed to make noise from 10 pm up to 7 am here and this is a very quiet area, we hear nothing even in Summer.
My poor husband has a health condition (Raynaud's syndrome) that makes him feel cold all the time, it's not a matter of moving to keep warm, sometimes he feels cold even in summer.

He sounds like me but I keep on doing things that make me warm. I open the window in the morning too before I tidy our bed to have some fresh air. Yes, in summer we keep the windows open unless it is loud outside when someone is mowing the garden. Thanks @LadyDuck and have a nice Tuesday.

Does your calamondin grow on a bush or a tree? Also, how does it taste? I've never heard of it before.
I like to air out my house before we go to bed but where we are living right now that isn't possible so we have fans going at night. One part for the air flow, and the other part is for the white noise to help us sleep better.
I do agree that I sleep better when it is chilly in my room. It lets me use all my blankets too.

Great shot. Cool is nice; but I don't like to be cold when I'm getting ready to sleep.

I think it's a matter of personal preference. We rarely open our windows, and always ensure the cats aren't around when we do. The windows have screens, but our cats could paw and scratch at the screen if they're attracted to something outside. Our home is a single story home, and all our windows are ergress (meaning you could punch thee screen out and climb out in the event of a fire). This is required by law, since a fire can happen anywhere at any time. It's also done this way so fire fighters have another point of access if they have to rescue someone trapped inside, too.

i used to love to open my windows all o'er the house 'n let fresh air flow from room to room. sadly such's not pleasant these days. someone's put'n a 'pre-dairy' half a mile 'p the road 'n that stench blows right to my place.
'tis true though, one gets better slumber when the room 'tis cooler.

Ouch! That is annoying @crazyhorseladycx. You will not be able to open the window because of that dairy. Yes, it is better to sleep when a room is a bit cool.

The fruit looks great. Since Florida climate is mostly hot or warm all year round I have my windows open all the time except in the workroom because I need to have the air conditioning on so my laptop does not overheat,

That is perfect weather for me to have all-round warm weather the whole year @RasmaSandra. We have open windows in summer the whole day and night.
