Was shocked to see this little busy bumble bee visiting the butterfly bush blooms in Dustin's garden.
In late October the bees are usually gone.
The warmer days lately have attracted a few critters I don't usually see.
A bee and later I saw a butterfly.
Made my day to see these critters. They will all be gone soon.
Enjoying the little things in life.

Do those bees die at the end of the season? Or do they hibernate throughout the colder months?

@CarolDM i bet most pleasantly so :) 86 here today 's we climb back'p, jest to get 'nother cold front here'n a day 'r so. the birds're 'njoyin' the warmth, fightin' o'er the waterfall so's they can take their baths. earlier there 'twas so many lined 'pon the bottom branch 'f the pine, such 'nearly touched the waters surface from the weight, lol.

@crazyhorseladycx Yikes that is very warm. Back and forth weather this time of year. How cool to see the birds in the waterfall.

Great photo and that is what I was about to say what is a bee doing on the flowers in October, You know these could be messages of love to you before the autumn really sets in and all the flowers die,

I guess that's why people say "busy as a bee." It's such a clear and pretty picture.

It is so nice to see such creatures in the garden. At least they still exist despite all the pollution, etc.around.

I have been seeing a lot more bees here. It isn't uncommon to see them out still here considering it is still warm, but not in the massive that they have been, but I enjoy them haha

It looks like a big bee to me, Carol. I am afraid of them, don't want them to sting me.
