So much for the “regular” baby songs. Tomorrow I’ll start the countdown of ten favorites with “baby” in the title. Lots of songs you’ve never heard of, but at least you’ve heard of the artists! Meanwhile, here’s today’s “NOPE” from NJ Chic....I mean, “baby” song.
Sweet Baby James - James Taylor
DANG what a beautiful song.
I hate going back and listening to songs like this, then hearing James Taylor’s lame, white-bread covers. That man is such a great songwriter, so why did he resort to doing covers of “Up on a Roof”?
Never mind. Yeah, he snuck his name in the title, but this classic could be call “Sweet Baby Ralph” (although dreams doesn’t rhyme with Ralph ) and it’d still be one amazing song.
Thanks for this one, sweet baby James Taylor.

In his prime put on a terrific concert! One I enjoyed quite a lot The inspiration behind the title was not JT, but his brother's child who he named after the singer.
