I Burned my Eye

A couple of weeks ago, the bathroom light went out. I replaced it with a new LED bulb. I did not realize the switch was on. I climbed on top of the toilet and reached far over to screw in the bulb. There was not enough room to open a stepstool.
The light flashed on and its brightness burned my eye. I only saw green splotches for hours. It is the eye with a new lens after cataract surgery. My sight came back but my eyes have hurt ever since. Never look into an LED light.
Have you ever injured yourself in an unusual way?

@crazyhorseladycx I don't get scars very often. The blood just flows for no reason.

@RebeccasFarm I don't know what I can or cannot do anymore. Things are weird and I have to adjust to that.

I'm so sorry that happened. I hope it will be all right. Is there something the eye doctor can do?

Yes.Once I was trying to make a piece of iron an electromagnet. I wrapped the iron with an insulated wire , connected the other end of the wire with switch board and switched on, but forgot that the iron rod is still in my hand.I received a heavy shock and fell down.A palm was burnt.
