October 24 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a better day than I've had in a long while.
I'm thankful for talking to myLotter, @crazyhorseladycx. It was very helpful and she always makes me laugh.
I'm thankful for the call from my brother and sister-in-law and the wonderful visit we had. They gifted me with the above puzzle. I need to find a place to put it together. My drafting table behind me has a puzzle on it I started several months ago. I'll finish it sooner or later. This one isn't as big as that one. It's all the lighthouses of Door County. I also have those magnets on my fridge from my trip to Door County and Washington Island. Having the puzzle makes it more enjoyable.
I'm thankful for the phone call from my daughter right after my brother and sister-in-law left. It was good hearing from her. She said she needs to come back and the sooner the better. Of course, she won't stay long, only until she finds an important document she needs. Her birthday is in four days.
I'm thankful for talking to my older son before I started back on here. My granddaughter's party went well. She loved the presents I got her. I sang Happy Birthday to her. He told me my younger son has a way to work, so he doesn't need to take him. He'll also finish my car tomorrow.
There's a lot to be thankful for today. It helped get rid of the emotional stress I was under for a couple of days.
I'm also thankful I took out my trash today. It wasn't easy, but I did it.
I'm thankful I got all my fitness goals achieved again today. I only have one week to work on them before I will once again be back to square one with them.

I think I saw they were ahead in the scores. Green Bay won. The second half was a good game.

aw, 'lways does me jest's much good's 't does yerself. jest a joy to get to visit with ya.
what a treat to get to sing to that lil cutie, so glad she loved her gifts. good those boys're still playin' nice, too. hopefully yer car'll be a-ok 'fore monday. know that'll take a load off yer mind.
so wonderful to get to visit with the family. hope yer daughter 'tis able to make 't there, spend some time with ya'n get'er schtuff tended, too.
awesome puzzle! jest got to thinkin' that i don't recall the last'un i put together?? which's a shame coz i used to love doin' so. perhaps if'n i can e'er get the sewin' room finished (still waitin' to see if'n water leaks're fixed...which'll require moisture to fall from the correct direction) i can either do such there (cuttin' table) 'r fill the dinin' room table with one, lol.
kudo's fer gettin' that trash tended. not'n easy task, but somethin' that boosters yer self-esteem. i know how wearin' 't can be'n such when ya feel ya gotta depend'n others fer a while.

Thank you. I hope so. I'm already looking forward to going back to church. I'm counting the weeks for that to happen and the second knee isn't done yet.
It took a bit of thinking. I can put that puzzle together on the dining room table. It's not as big as the one I'm working on in here. I'll wait until after my sister leaves as we're going to need that table to eat on. I just remembered I have another table I can set up in the living room. We'll see what I do. I want to start working on it right now. Patience is needed.
I was so happy to talk with my older son and sing to her. I'm glad she likes the toys I got her.
The car will be done this morning. I don't have appointments before Tuesday. I do need groceries though before I head into surgery. We'll see what happens between now and then.
