The skywalk at Kalbarri, Western Australia

On our way home for northern Western Australia, we stayed two nights in Kalbarri, a popular resort on the coast. I will have to do a series of short posts to show you all the wonderful scenery we saw in the area.
One of the most spectacular was the new skywalk at Murchison Gorge. The Murchison River runs at the bottom of the gorge. The skywalk looks amazing and a bit scary from other angles but it feels perfectly safe to walk out and peer over the edge. There are actually two skywalks within a short distance of each other. Each walk is like a triangle.
The top photo has the railing in the bottom left corner and you can see the second skywalk jutting out over the edge of the gorge. You can see part of the river in the top right. The lower photo shows a bigger pool with some reflections. There is a circle of black dots on the water which are black swans.

Nice view. Good thing that it is safe to walk on the skywalk. A bit scary but exciting I think.

@Ronrybs That's interesting. Vince's knees go weak if he has to climb a windmill but he took photos hanging out a helicopter once and it didn't seem to worry him. Our two boys (about 6 and 8 at the time) were offered a ride in a helicopter but only if I went with them. I was fine with it really while it was moving but when it stopped and just hovered, I felt a bit anxious. I was waiting for it to drop out of the sky. lol

I think I would be just sprawled and limp on the skywalk, I'm a height phobia :-)

I would never make it out to the end of the walk. I'd be scared stiff! It's a great view though!
