Menu Suggestions

I am craving for grilled squid (photo not mine). Hope to have some, this Thursday. My husband's rest days fall on weekdays. So, as a freelancer I pattern my schedule to his. I stay with my parents five days a week because I need help with my toddler. Twice a week we come home to him and he loves cooking and grilling. Looking forward to your menu suggestions for our rest day / family day. :)

I had 100% veg today. But tomorrow, I am planning to have boiled eggs or scrambled eggs - depends on my mood.

Good you turned to your parents for help. Must always be family in rearing the child. The grilled squid is a favorite.

@jdbces I do believe in the 'yaya' or nanny care. We had one when we were children. My parents both worked in the office. Filipino nannies give the tender most loving care. However, there really are some disgusting creatures who abuse children. Grrr.

We had some issue with the helper before, so I turned to my family instead. Grateful for my parents and to my elder sister too. :) Oh, you love it. I dont often eat one but looking forward to request this one to my hubby. Have a lovely evening to you! :)

Nothing really bad happened though. I was just not satisfied with the care, dedication and attention. But I agree, there are still a lot of nannies who care like your ow family. :)

Yes. I like grilled food but they say it is not good to eat too much grilled.

It is hard to suggest food for someone whose tastes I don't know. We eat a lot of pork loin.

Maybe fried mushroom :-) simply delicious with tomato sauce :-) Or maybe just stir fry water spinach or cabbage :-)

Stuff mince meat into the squid and grill it. It is really a great way to eat BBQ food. If you want, you can add Onion into the mince meat as well.

Thank you. I would want to do the same for him in the future. My toddler is very clingy to me, so having him help me with the chores and doing the cooking means a lot to me.
