Do you have wildlife in your neighborhood?

Up at my cabin in Montana, I often see deer, skunks, squirrels, eagles, and other birds of various kinds. We also have a black bear up there, but I haven't seen her.
Here at my house in California, we have raccoons, squirrels, hummingbirds, doves, hawks, crows, and other birds flying around our house. We also have Mallard ducks and Canada geese waddling through our parking lot at times. They're everywhere along our bike paths and in our parks.
In our Mt. Diablo foothills, where my horse lived, we have coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, hawks, vultures, smaller birds, and many different kinds of snakes, including a shy breed of rattlesnake.
Do you have wildlife where you live? I think it would be fun to live where moose and bears wandered the streets. I wouldn't "mess" with either. I'll attach another picture from my hike the other day. We met Mr. and Mrs. Duck fairly near where we took the picture in my previous post.

Wild turkeys pass through our yard, twice each day. Our neighbor saw a black bear, just behind his home. Two evening ago, a four point buck(deer) casually walked up our driveway!

@TheHorse Tawas is on Lake Huron's shoreline, about 30 miles north of Michigan's thumb.

@kobesbuddy I'll have to take a peek. I went to summer camp in Lawrence, which is near Paw Paw and Kalamazoo.

@TheHorse I dont have too much trouble with them. But we do keep everyone mostly fenced in and that helps

@wolfgirl569 I think it was the coyotes that were our nemesis at the stable in the foothills.

We have the same CA suburbia wildlife mix here too. The ducks and geese are in the parks and places with ponds. Yah, I would love to see the biggies out here too - but apparently it's not exactly fun having to really deal with them.

Saw a ground hog helping himself to the squirrel/bird food a couple of times.

Paradise photo! I live on some weedy acres so there is wildlife. I don't see many animals but I hear coyotes and I know that something rather large killed one of my turkeys a few years ago. Tons of birds around, including melodious meadowlarks in the sagebrush. One of my dogs knows that there are skunks here, too.

Wow that's awesome :-) you're so blessed to have wildlife around your house. The wild animals that sometimes I found are civet, lizard, snake, owl, bat, squirrel and some small birds :-)

@TheHorse civet is a kind of wild cat, it's like Asian version of raccoon :-) Unfortunately the small birds seem to be decreased in amount, I used to see a bird that eats flower's nectar but now they dissappear

Birds, squirrels and free-range cats. There may be racoons and other critters in the park down the hill.

Oh, they're called Northern Pacific Rattlesnakes, and they're less aggressive than many other kinds of rattlesnakes. The young ones are like the little chicken hawk that Foghorn Leghorn used to mess with. "Boy, I'll show you how to catch a chicken." They rattle at you and look real mad. But the older ones just rattle at you as if to say, "I'm too old for this sh*t. Just leave me alone," and then move slowly away. This is all based on personal experience. I'll attach a picture of a fairly young one. He only rattled when I poked him with a stick to get him off the trail. Then he just curled, looked at me, and didn't rattle gain. Somehow he knew I was not a threat to him.

You have a lot of wildlife where you live.
We have birds, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, beaver, geese, ducks, eagles, and there's another one I'm not sure about. I want to say an opossum, might be a sloth. It's a new one in these parts. It's rather large.

Wow you own a lot of land. How wonderful to have so many places to go to enjoy nature.
I have woodchuck, fox, coyote, Turkey, deer and bear that come through my yard as well as all different kinds of birds. I saw a little hawk a few days ago too.
