It is an individual responsibility

Even though some of our leaders have not taken the pandemic seriously, it is our responsibility to do so anyway. i agree the pandemic is not being handled well in the US. However, I have the option to stay home, and stay safe. I can wash my hands, wear masks. I am the one who chooses to eat healthily, get fresh air and sunshine. Do I wish politicians had set a better example, "YES". Do I wish everyone would be careful, "YES". Ultimately, though, I am responsible for me. Even if Trump had been scrupulously careful, there would still be other covidiots exposing themselves and others. He just made it worse.

very true! I actually wash my hands too much, due to ocd, and just hate doing something dirty like dishes trash or cat litter then not washing them. Plus washing before cooking and eating. Etc. Cant help it though.

I have always washed my hands a lot. My mom once said to me "For a person who likes plants, you sure have to wash your hands a lot." Are you moisturizing enough? Don't let them get all chapped.

@GardenGerty mine get so bad! Usually the left one more than the right though. Which makes no sense to me.

@Courtlynn is it possible you do not rinse it as well? I like either lotion bar or Cornhusker's lotion. Paraffin bath is very moisturizing as well.

He has done a terrible job of handling this. I've been staying here, working from home, ordering groceries from Instacart, etc.

Yes, I think we "common folks", at least some of us, have tried to do our part, and leadership has not been strong.

Yes it is and it is your fault if you get covid19 because you did not stay safe.

I am reading now that to some extent they are not even able to tell how some people have gotten it.

Yes, exactly. No one has forced me to mask or not mask, wash or not wash.

I don't listen to that bully. He has not done a thing to lead by example. I do everything I can to stay safe and CO-19 free.

Trump made it a lot worse by not wearing a mask.
