The day is normal here as ever

I thought we would feel the brunt of typhoon but so far the day looks normal today. supposed to be, today was the actual landfall of the typhoon, thus heavy rain and strong wind would be terrifying us all here, but nope. Thank God!

Yes I am happy too. Though we expect the worse, I'm surely glad that the day is clear, no rain no wind and almost the sun is out

@Janet357 It might not be an exaggeration. It has been said that if a storm landfall, there is a tendency for it to get weaker. Or along the way, it can change it's course. I rather be prepared than be devastated. I do not want like Ondoy or Yolanda to happened again.

We were also waiting for it but it didn’t arrive. l am thankful it has weakened when it left the Bicol-Quezon area and when it finally reached us the storm has weakened a lot that all storm signals were lowered already.

@Janet357 Weather forecasts are never perfect in their predictions. It may look scientific and accurate but it is actually a best guesstimate of what to expect. But forecasting have greatly improved compared to mamy decades ago where typhoons where reported when it is bery near landfall already.

yes. I watched it on tv it just made me nervous though and a bit disappointed. I don't know. I wont believe weather forecast anymore
