A Power Nap

United States
November 3, 2020 6:11am CST
We've all had power naps in our time, but I was just wondering what causes us to have them, and why they're not regular. Been a long time since I had one, sleep maybe ten minutes, and feel as though you slept all night. When was the last time you had one.

I have a power nap almost every afternoon. Since I work from home I am not able to sleep for long in the afternoon so a power nap halps.

Frankly, during our Management Studies, we were told the importance of a power nap! Trust me, I do use it sometimes when it is absolutely required.

Only during lunch at work. Maybe due to how I sleep to too. Just at on my chair at my desk. If at home that would never work. I lay down on bed and I would probably wake up an hour later.

I am sure sleeping in a chair is not good. But being able to take one at home is really good.

I had to take a very long power nap yesterday. My power was out from 2am to 4pm. So I slept most of the day and read and colored.

Fun fact: a lot of famous inventors, philosophers, artists, etc would ONLY have power naps. Einstein was one of them. When you have a chance, search it up. It's pretty interesting. The reason you feel more awake after a power nap is because your body releases stress hormones, so you feel more awake/alert. When you have more sleep, your body goes into relaxation mode, so you're more tired and takes longer for you to gain energy. I have a power nap at least 5 times a week.
