I got word today from my friend that her Covid test came back negative! What a huge relief for all of us. So I had decided when all of this worry first began that we would be wearing a mask when they came to visit. They will also be asked to wear one. Thank you for all of your positive thoughts and prayers! Stay safe, stay aware!!!

@Nevena83 thank you. I really enjoy making them for family and friends. Mass production is the pits though.

I am sitting here now thinking that maybe I should wear a mask when I visit my sister today. I hope she isn't offended.

@ElusiveButterfly We've had another outbreak in South Australia. 17 new cases but those affected have been out in the community all over the place.

Where I used to live (Hamilton) has gone to Code Red but where I currently live (St Catharines) is only going to Code Orange. I'm not sure what will be open next week, but these restrictions don't start until then, so I better go out and get a newspaper.

When you open the map for the USA, Vermont is the only state that is blue.

@BarBaraPrz safe for the moment. We have just been told not to have gatherings in our own home. But, out of staters can come and go as they please. Unless they are staying in which case they must quarantine for 2 weeks. We cannot travel out of state only for groceries and work.

Nobody will be allowed in our home without a mask and then it will only be for a short visit. I will spray and cleanse all areas following the visit.

@LadyDuck I have some health issues that I take medication for. I do not want to become ill. There are so many people in our state that refuse to wear a mask and call it propaganda. That scares me.

We still have so many that refuse to wear them. Some will only wear them in stores that require them to wear one. Our local Walmart mandates mask wearing. Still there are people who refuse saying that they are medically excused. I didn't think that idiocy was an illness.

@DianneN I know people with medical conditions that will wear a mask. Yes, it isn't easy for them to do so. However, they wear it for as long as it is needed.

@ElusiveButterfly There is no excuse for not wearing a mask. If it's medical, they should stay home! I don't go out, so I really don't know who is wearing a mask and who isn't.

I am relieved as well. I am more aware that we need to mask up more. Little Miss chose the material for the masks. It is her favorite color.
