The grand festival is over and finally I get some rest. . As I promised to share the picture of my finished rangoli in my last post, here I do that. That's the design I finally did at my entrance. Made it very simple this year... Lack of time and also a lot tired by the crazy busy week both at work and home. But it did come out really neat We woke up around 9 in the morning. We all slept for more than 10 hours at a stretch. Guess we all had a busy busy week and our body needed that. This is the longest I slept in years. I hardly remember when was the last time I woke up late than 7:30 in morning. Enough leftover is there and I don't have to cook todayAlso on cleaning front, the house is quite clean and we can ignore little mess for a day. So I am in all mood to relax and lazy around todayTomorrow is a holiday and I can get ready for the working week tomorrow. Still quite a few papers need corrections and I will do them later when I am tired of being lazy I have all plans to watch TV and mylot. And do some reading. Hope all well at your end. Now let me catch up with new posts here

@arunima25 Do you make the Rangoli every morning? That is a time consuming task!

@LadyDuck No, I don't. I mainly do it on special occasions. But many of my friends do it. They are so used to it. It takes them a few minutes to do it. They do not do an elaborate design but just some simple designs using only one color and mainly white.

Thanks Anna. I took a good rest today. Almost lying down whole day and enjoying myself. I kept it simple to save time and energy. Well many households make a fresh rangoli every morning throughout year. They become fast and perfect with practice.

I am glad that you liked it. It is done manually using the rangoli powder and it is spontaneous. I mean I do not do the outlining before sprinkling the colored powders.

Well people are careful. And this time in pandemic there was no visitor. No visiting to loved ones, exchanging gifts and sweets. So it remained safe and even today it is there. I will clean it tomorrow.

@arunima25 Even I am tired and having lots of back pain. I think I have gone out of the habit of driving long distance. And now we need to get some repairs - leakage and other problems are troubling us.
