Waiting for sunlight......

We woke up to a wet morning again. It has been raining since yesterday afternoon and we even had a full day drizzle and rain on Friday. Luckily the rain took a break on Saturday else it would have ruined the festival spirit for Diwali.
Guess after a good break of two weeks rain is back and it seems that it would stay here for few days to come. Well that's something all people at Bangalore are used to. But I have a pile of laundry done last night that need to dry.
So I am waiting for sunlight.

A new week is here with new hope. Wishing all mylotters a wonderful week. Today is the last day of my five day long Diwali holiday. So the day will be mostly preparing for a working week ahead. I am working this Saturday for long hours.

I love sunflowers always to stand right next to a field of them is real sunshine regardless of the rain.

Sunflowers are considered happy flowers. They always brighten up your mood. This one is from my friends garden.
I had a good holiday. The fun and celebration has left me exhausted. So I am relaxing a bit to start work week from tomorrow.

@lovinangelsinstead21 Just few miles drive from our home, there is a long stretch of sunflower farms on the outskirts of the city. We often used to just go for long drive to enjoy that. But now not going out much in this pandemic.

I totally agree. They are happy flowers. It's pouring heavily here. Hope we get some sun tomorrow. My laundry is in shade. I will switch on the fan over night in one of the empty rooms. It's cold here and we can't stand fan.

'tis a pleasant morn here, the winds mild, sun shinin', birds singin'. nice change 'fter days/nights 'f high winds which chilled to the bone. very sweet 'f yer friend to send ya such a 'sunny' photo, sunflowers 'lways make me smile.

Sunflowers always cheer up the mood. They are rightly called happy flowers . Well fortunately the rain took a break today in daytime. We had sun with intermittent clouds. Now it's 9 PM and I am in bed. It's drizzling outside.

Well it's pouring here with thunder. I guess my laundry will take a couple of days to dry. It's heavy rain and gloomy weather here.
