Weekly Grocery Shopping

I was grocery shopping this afternoon with my husband. We have done our weekly grocery shopping. I went to another supermarket and bought golden powder for my golden cake decoration next week and left my hubby in the car. Then we went to a builder shop to buy white paint for painting (recycling) small brown drawer closets. The brown drawer closets are old but they are still good. They are better than what you can buy in Ikea. I don´t want to throw them. I want to paint them white because our new closets are all in white now. I want to recycle them and use them for whatever I need to store. I don´t know when to do it but I have already the paint to use. Grocery shopping was tiring and so I didn´t want to cook. We just bought 2 pizzas for baking in the oven. They looked good and delicious but they were indeed Not delicious. I was disappointed but I still ate my pizza as I was hungry. My homemade pizza was better than what I have eaten for dinner. Well, no more pizza (photo) next time from Aldi. How was your day? What´s for dinner? Thank you for reading. There was something lacking @sophie09. I am used to eating pizza in an Italian restaurant and so it was always the best pizza that I have eaten. Italians are the best pizza maker I should say.

We're having pizza for dinner tonight too. My daughter is picking it up on her way home from work so neither of us are cooking tonight. Of course nothing is ever better than homemade

I love to improve old furniture. I am not a fan of pizza, especially frozen ones but I agree it ia practical when we are in a rush.

Good on you for recycling those drawers! I hope they turn out just how you want them to. Sorry about the pizza. At least now you know not to get it from Aldi. Tonight we plan to have rib burgers with a side of delicious onion rings

Yes, it looks delicious @sol_cee. That was why I was so disappointed when I ate it. I think the photo is the best example of what looks good doesn´t mean how delicious it is.

That was very tiring @DianneN. We have to do a lot of sanitizing nowadays. I put the pizza on my "charged to experience list". Well, my mental list to not buy and not do it again. Thank you.

I'm sorry the pizza was disappointing. Now that you have the paint, you will find the time to paint the drawers. I had leftovers for lunch. I'll finish it for dinner.

There are actually some very good, premium frozen and fresh pizza offerings in stores these days, and sometimes they are just what the doctor ordered.

Maybe, I just had bad luck with the pizza yesterday. The best pizza that I have eaten was only in an Italian restaurant where we used to dine in. Sadly, they are closed.

@thelme55 I only eat two meals a day and after I take my medication I cannot eat anymore. I also do not like to eat in the evening because I would get fat and I am trying to keep the weight off. I worked very hard to lose the weight I lost and hope I am not gaining much if any. I do not weigh myself.
