It was too cold this morning so I didn't even bother getting dressed to go out there. I waited until noon when the sun was high in the sky and the temperature was 51 degrees farenheit. I ended up walking several miles (around 3 give or take) and even walked down a street that I haven't walked down in awhile. Walking down this street means I have to either turn around and go back up the hill which is steep or continue on and walk up another hill but one that isn't as steep. A fitbit daily step challenge pushed me to walk. Even if I don't make it to my daily step count of 12,000 I feel better after having walked in the fresh air
I've also been working on my shawl and should be finished with it soon.

I hope the weather improves soon. You walk around a lake a lot, don't you?

@thelme55 That sounds like a peaceful place to walk. I could walk to the park in my neighborhood but it would take forty five minutes. There is a nice stream there though.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yes, the weather improves today. It is at 8 °C. Yes, I walk around the lake with my friend.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I think our neighborhood is 50s. But so many have updated theirs - and some look weird because of it. I like looking at different yards and pets!

@much2say Me too! There are some cute yard decorations in my neighborhood. I need to take a picture of one such decoration for a friend. It's a black sunflower but it looks as if the petals are on two different swivels. It's cute.
I went down a road today that I haven't been down in so long. There was a house painted light blue with darker shutters and I just thought "wow that's such a charming house! I wanna see what the inside looks like!"

We had some foggy mornings earlier this week too. Mostly it's just been colder in the mornings. Right, I love looking at the houses around here. They were all built in the 70's but they are all different styles. Actually, I think some were built in the 60's.

@sallypup I forgot I had this image on my computer. I'm nearly done with it now, so it's larger than pictured.

I am glad you were able to get out and do walking. I am also glad you will be finished with your shawl soon.

@Hannihar Thank You. Today I took a shorter walk, but only by about 20 minutes. It was chilly when I first started and I almost turned around but I saw a guy jogging and thought - well if he can jog in this weather, than I can walk in it!

Thank You. It's the next day now and I am waiting for it to warm up a little more so that I can go out and walk. This time I may take a longer walk.

The cooler weather has been nice, but just too cold to walk in so early in the morning. I'm glad my neighborhood has been quiet though, I didn't have to move out of the way of many cars.

@CarolDM Wish I had room for one here... Oh well, eventually I'll get that exercise bike that can be folded up. I've seen those peloton commercials and like the idea of that bike but that thing is expensive!

Oh no. I've been slacking lately! I used to do closer to 10,000 a day but I haven't been.

Thank You! I have never understood how a fiddle could be fit myself, but it must be so!
