We didn't get to go to church this morning, we only have service first and third Sundays of the month. And with Covid making a surge, not sure how long we'll have inside services again.
But we watched Brian Biggers at Lamb's Chapel church on TV and are always blessed with his messages. Very down to earth and understandable, no formalities.
For lunch/dinner I cooked a beef roast, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet peas, deviled eggs, cranberry sauce, fried corn bread and sweet tea. So very thankful for a wonderful meal.
The weather this weekend has been glorious...warm for November (70s F) and no rain. Just taking it easy and enjoying our Sunday. Hope you are also!

@Courtlynn Sometimes I use Bob Evans mashed potatoes from the deli section at Walmart, just heat them up and are really close to homemade, but today I made my own. Looking forward to leftovers tomorrow!

It's not as good as having fellowship with our brothers and sisters in the Lord, but at least we get to hear some preaching. Have the church services there been canceled during this pandemic?

@1creekgirl They were for a while then some started having online services along with social distancing in the church. Now they are mostly back to normal but with social distancing still in force.

It really was yummy. I don't make deviled eggs very often. Our son ate supper with us yesterday after he and my husband played golf and I made chicken croquettes.
