Thought of you when I read this @JudyEv! We all know that Australia is home to some of the most unusual and fascinating animals on Earth. Well now it has been found that they are even more fascinating than previously thought; many marsupials glow in the dark! So next time you are out for a night-time stroll, take a UV light and you might find there is more going on out there than you thought! All rights reserved. © Text copyright Fleur 2020.
Western Australian Museum researchers borrowed a UV light to shine on different creatures in response to an earlier US study that found platypus are biofluorescent.

That's perfectly ammusing. I would have never thought about glow-in-the-dark animals. But, then again, my own skin glows under a black light.

@Fleura If I can figure out how, I might. I don't want to get in trouble though, because the site might not not like it.

Thanks! Good to see you too. This summer things just got a bit over-busy what with 3 months of home-schooling and all that.

I knew some animals glowed in UV, but not wombat. I know bees can see in UV, wonder if other animals can?

I don't know; certainly several types of animals see the world differently from us.
