I lose track of the days

With our extended holiday and not much going on at my house, I lose track of the days. It is Saturday for me. If hubby finishes his last library book we will go to McPherson today. Otherwise it will be tomorrow. After church. Sunday is church and a Sunday activity. Monday hubby says he works, he thinks. I have at least an hour at physical therapy to evaluate my pain. In the afternoon I will donate "power red" which means a double unit of red blood cells. I have a type of blood that is in demand, always. So, I keep reminding myself of where I am, and what I am doing. It is getting to be a long quarantine. By the way, my brother who has Covid says avoid it if you possibly can. It is not fun. I will talk to you guys later.

Don't you need your red blood cells yourself to combat your own pain? What do you have pain from do you know the cause? Many members here get mixed up on their days. I've not gone out other than my wound care appts. If anyone should be mixed up I should, lol. I do own at the calendar in my phone here and there for the date more than the actual day.

The pain is from muscle spasms in the area of my sciatic nerve. No one has said not to donate. I saw a physical therapist today and we are going to train my muscles to quit hurting.

Even young people can get really sick. My brother is sixty-three and is obese, so I am very worried about him.

I'm so sorry your brother has the virus. I hope he recovers soon. Yes, it is hard to keep track of days when holidays and other events happen to throw everyone off.

How’s your brother doing? I never thought being an anti-social loner would come in handy!

He said he just does not feel like doing anything. He coughs a lot, but he can sleep. His wife is asthmatic and is having trouble. They are careful and fairly anti social and absolutely have been OCD about sanitizing forever, BUT his wife works and the gal at the next desk over came to work sick.

I tend to lose track of the days too - one day is much like another for me. I have a fairly rare blood type too (AB) and used to donate regularly, but once I got to 60 they didn't want it any more.

Talking with the young lady today she said that they take donations as long as you are healthy (American Red Cross) although I know some plasma centers have cut offs.

I do hope your brother will continue to recover and you all will stay well. Glad I'm not the only one who can't keep up with what day it is!

It is easy to lost track of what day you are in. Ever since the day I retired I am never sure what day it is. I agree with your brother, it is no fun at all to have Covid.
