The recliner that may never come.

When we bought my husband a new recliner back in September, we were told it had to be made at the factory and it should be delivered around the first of November.
Then it was changed to mid November. Then the end of November.
Now it's the first week in December. Grrr!
My husband went to their store and it probably wasn't a pretty sight. He doesn't cuss (curse) or anything, but those two salesmen at the showroom didn't know who they were messing with.
He's going to call the corporate office tomorrow.

@1creekgirl Heck no don’t start over tell them you want the chair but after all the crap you have been put through you deserve the money back or at least part of it

if'n such's made'n a factory, why'n heavens earth 'twas such not made 'n sent months 'go? ridiculous! i hope he gave 'em a what-fer. i fear if'n such 'twas me, i'd be demandin' not jest a full refund, but interest'n such's well.

@1creekgirl a whoppin' $50 gift card to where? their store? nope, not 'xceptable'n my book. yer hubs's way more patience'n myself coz i'm sure y'all paid fer the chair when ordered.

@crazyhorseladycx That was my first thought..the card had better not be to spend in their store. But it will be a visa or ? I think my husband rattled some cages because we got a call that the chair will be delivered tomorrow. I'll belive it when I see it.

That's funny because that's what I told my husband! He talked to corporate and they offered a $50 gift card and said the chair should be delivered in a few days. I'll believe it when it's setting in my living room.

Wow! You need the chair too. Reminds me of my FedEx delivery that's stuck so far at CA. It's part 2 of my order. Still waiting for it from mid Oct. From Dec. 1 now got a text alert Dec. 7 delivery.

. I wouldn't blame your husband if he gave those salesmen some choice words . . . they need to keep their words!! Ohhh, I hope whatever happens works out in your favor!!!
