December 3 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a quiet day.
I'm thankful for the phone call I got from my sister. I hoped she would come for a visit, but she's concerned about leaving the house so close to Christmas, so opted to stay home. I understand and talking to her was the next best thing. We talked for an hour about a full range of topics.
I'm thankful for the full night's sleep I had last night. It's so awesome not to get up in the night for any reason.
I'm thankful for the Christmas cards I've gotten in the mail. I'm waiting for stamps to come in the mail that I ordered online as I still have cards to mail out.
I'm thankful for you, my virtual friends. I might not be able to spend a lot of time here, but I'm thankful for the time I am here. You guys are the best.
I'm thankful for payday. I got my bills paid today.

My relatives and myself are thankful that our landlady has pardoned our December rent since due to a clerical error we were unjustly charged for paying the rent for September despite our neighbor not having any electrical power until September 22 due to Hurricane Laura that struck on August 27.

That is a beautiful pic. I am thankful I got a couple of lucrative surveys on Prolfic although one was driving me totally nuts. It was so involved. I am also thankful the weather was good today, and I was able to get a few miles in walking.

I hope that although it was quiet, it was a good day. Sorry she decided to not come visit right now, but phone calls are good. Very pretty lights in the photo!

i'm glad ya 't least got to visit with yer sis o'er the phone.
what? ya can order stamps 'nline? dang, i could'a 'lready done such if'n i'd 'nly known, lol.
'lways good to get the bills paid. 'nless yer the hubs, who pays nothin' coz 'tis 'his' money to squander

@just4him reckon i ought'a go hunt that stamp thingy down'n get'er done. i've a lone stamp starin' 't me here'n my desk.
like yerself, i'm quite the fan 'f gettin' those out'ta the way. way less stress...
no worries, 'tis a huge chapter'n my life 't seems? my dad used to tell me not to worry 'bout such coz one day i'd be gone'n 't'd not matter.

@crazyhorseladycx When I ordered them it did say it would take a few days before I got them. I hope they're here tomorrow.
It is less stressful. You know they're done and taken care of.

Thankful for another day to get my work done online and thankful I got all my blogging done today. Lovely Christmas decorations I cannot believe how quickly the holidays seem to be coming at us,

I am glad you got a good nights rest and got to talk with your sister.
I am thankful to be able to stock up our pantry and freezer today. The store had the food, we had the money. Last week I wanted to buy some meat but the shelves were pretty bare, today a bit more stocked. God provided for us again. I think in the near future our state is going back to complete shut down phase as we were back in March which seems like 900 years ago. Time will tell....
