Time to make my Christmas Trees!

I was at Home Depot the other day, getting some seeds (cilantro and snow pea) and some polyurethane for the coasters I'm making. Outside, I saw that they had gathered the discs from the bottoms of the Christmas trees that they're selling. I gathered up some discs and sprigs, and started making the little Christmas trees I always make at this time of year. I have four done, and will make several more. They go to kids I work with and to my friends who host Christmas parties. We'll see what happens this year. If you want to learn how to make them, just let me know. One of my former kid clients (I worked with her for years) is now in her 20s and created a YouTube video about making these things. It's pretty cute, for lack of a better word. Ho ho ho!

It would be a buzz to see a former kid client making videos about these little trees. Good for you.

Your little trees are so cute. The neighbor cut the tall pine she had in her garden, I always stole some branches for my Christmas creations.

@TheHorse She was tired to clean the pathway, the tree was very tall and also too close to the house. I can walk in the wood in front of us to get some branches... not today, I am not going to walk in two feet of snow.

@LadyDuck Two feet of snow? Can you attach a picture? I can't be totally dependent on Valerie for my snow pictures. Midwestern Winters can be unpredictable.

Do you know why she cut it down? Do you have another source for your branches?
