When you stay up all night watch You Tube videos you’ll wake up late. I’m still in bed, so I’ll fall out of here shortly and go enjoy the day. But fist, another song with “fall” in the title.
#9: Falling Up - John Hiatt
Hey, Mr. Hiatt! Long time no use.
At this point in the game, John Hiatt was still relatively unknown. He had written one hit, Three Dog Night’s “Sure As I’m Sittin’ Here,” but he was still floundering away in an alcohol river of poor sales.
Still, he managed to turn out a pretty darn good album. And it didn’t get lost in the scrap heap of forgotten albums: Eric Clapton and B.B. King had a hit with the album’s title song in 2010, winning a Grammy for their “Riding With the King.”
Happily sober for over 35 years now, Hiatt is a songwriting legend and enjoying the fruits of his labor.

Cool good to know he turned it up the other way. And sober now.

Another one I'm not familiar with--I was more into John Raitt--Bonnie's father--famous for "Carousel" on Broadway and "Pajama Game" on Broadway and on film!
Here is the one and only John Raitt at the General Foods 25th Anniversary Show: A Salute to Rodgers and Hammerstein singing "Soliloquy", the song he made leg...

Actually, there’s a connection: Bonnie Raitt had a huge hit with a John Hiatt song, “Thing Called Love.”

Thanks for sharing I have not heard about the singer of the song, I guess I would rather fall up than down
