The tree bit the dust

The tree stand for my little $10 - but - I - spent - $25 - tree broke last night. It was my fault, I knocked into it and it fell and I think I might have stepped on part of it, enough that the snap in stand broke. It broke in such a way that I can't fix it. Oh well.. That was stupid of me, and I also figured it was bound to happen with my clumsiness. It looks like Mr. And Mr. Claus will be festively decorated with a string of lights and my Santa wizards / gnomes will go back to their happy home in the other room. Maybe I'll bring out my candle decorations and use them instead. In the meantime, I'm going to wait until after Christmas and get a better tree on discount

I might be able to buy a replacement stand true, but I'm not sure it would be worth it. I wouldn't be able to get a refund or replacement from the seller, it's been too many months since I bought it.

Oh dear so how are you going to stand it...could you hang it?

Well, I hadn't thought about hanging it. I do have a hook in the ceiling above it.. Hmm, that's not a bad idea, thank you. I had collapsed it and just planned to not have the tree.

@RebeccasFarm Yes, it's one of those new trends besides the upside down tree. I might not be able to do it, but I'd like to atleast try.

Yes it is, but I wasn't planning on using it again anyway. I don't like how dinky the tree was.

I had already planned to replace it with another, so it's not that big of a deal. I'll get a better one next time and maybe even let it be a white one.

I have to admit, I have never broken a tree. Quite impressive.

It was the same "leaf" of the stand that I had to slam into it's socket, so it doesn't surprise me. This tree was worth like $10.
