I'm one of those people that enjoyed the quarantine stay at home mandate. It was great to be able to go to a store and no one would be in your way. Just get in and get out. During the past two months, more and more families are bringing their kids along with them. Entire herd of kids blocking the aisles because they are all walking along side the shopping cart. Kids running around with a mother not even trying to discipline the child. Just a, "Get over here. What did I say about behaving? Listen to me ! " I just feel like grabbing their kids and throwing them in the cart and say, "See, thats how easy it is, or leave them at home." The worse is still adults who hog up the aisles or see that theres no way through and still try to push through. I got used to being around a few people, to where now if theres a crowd in a small space, I feel as if i'm about to have a panic attack of sorts. I get to feeling very uncomfortable and just wanna get the "F" out of there. My patience gets tried a lot. Paranoia starts settling in. Uneasiness is visibly shown. Let me shop at a safe social distance. Respect my space. Stay out of my safe pandemic bubble ! Photograph- Taken/Owned by me, Plethos

Have you run into the teens who wear their mask as a jock strap over their jeans? Or the ones who wear the mask as a shroud over their hair? Or the ones who wear it as a chin strap? I am sick and tired of them doing stupid stunts like that but Walmart won't do anything about it.

Its so crazy the level of common courtesy is lost. They kept their kids so protected but did not teach them common courtesy. What good is any of this if you not teaching crap. No one survives by being a jackass.

@DaddyEvil - before covid, if i were to walk into a store wearing a mask or bandana over my face, id have store security detaining me waiting for the police to show up. now, its a norm to see everyone dressed as a western outlaw.

@crossbones27 - maybe the course on common sense is not part of the zoom curriculum yet. or has yet to be taught.

@Cheyee Of course not. But I often go down discussions and talk to people I have talked with before.

I noticed the kids A LOT. I remember deep during the lock down this last spring here in Minnesota, a few stores said NO kids under 16 allowed to be shopping with you. (ONE home improvement store in the area did this). Which is tough for the single parents to have to deal with, but I really enjoyed it as a consumer.

a walmart near me had a , one cart one person policy. only exception was for special circumstances. such as an elderly person needing a person to assist them. and a lot of stores had special times for elderly shoppers to shop with no regular shoppers around.

We've had so few cases that it's not too much of an issue here but mostly people keep their distances.

@Plethos We've had cases in our big cities but not where we live in the country.

@JudyEv - huge areas of population will naturally have a lot of cases. its common sense.

i dont mind if kids are well behaved. a kids behavior speaks volumes about the parenting skills they are dealt with.

@Plethos I understand completely what you are saying, except I go out the door there are always people and not all follow the rules. I go to the store and there are people. I want to cross the street and I will literally stand away from people and they do not get it. I want to get through the time I am out and get back home to my cat without being sick. People do not care and it is very fruatrating.

@Plethos That is a great idea but what happens if they have one too so how do you get by and I hope yours works good. I have had some that do not work very well.
