I don't have a fire to keep me warm but I am nice and cozy in my apartment. I woke up to snow this morning. Though I'm loving the snow, I am concerned for my son driving in this. My tires aren't the best for this kind of weather. I'm glad he doesn't work until later when the roads should be good to drive on. I haven't seen the plows, but I'm sure they're out there.
The picture was taken through my office window. That's the best it's going to get. At least you can see the snow.

i reckon yer son didn't get his new auto 'fterall?? i hope he 'twas safe out'n the roads.
a false sense 'f warmth 's the sun shone off/on. chance 'f rain/snow tonight with gusty winds. high 'morrow 'f a whoppin' 38 degrees. which'll 'feel like' 'bout 18 if'n the winds're predicted correctly. not gonna be a fun day to be outdoors fer certain. a necessity though so's i can make certain all the critters 're 'lright.

@just4him oops, my bad. i'd presumed such'd 'lready been tended to. 'twas 18 this morn, winds gustin' (still'd be) to 45mph. the 'feels like' 'twas 2 't the time i went'n tended the critters. jest a light dustin' 'f snow. most 'tis 'lready gone. 'tis a shame 't didn't take the winds's well.

We got rainy sleet today, but no snow accumulation on the ground. The reason, it's almost 40 degrees here.

@just4him Today we woke up to about 1/4 inch of snow. It got colder last night, 27 degrees.

@Courtlynn No, it's not. We'll see what happens. I hope that squirrel is wrong, but a skinny tail doesn't look like a cold winter.

I like that photo.
It's cold here today -upper 30's. It's damp and gray. There is a possibility of snow tomorrow- our first here in my corner of Southwest Missouri.

@just4him We don't get as much as you do in Wisconsin. We usually get a few inches about 2-3 times per year, and just a dusting more often. Just ice sometimes too.

A nice and cozy apartment is the next best thing to a fire to keep you warm! Looks, and sounds, cold there! Here it was cold but no snow thankfully!
