In perfect harmony I live my life. no clouds on the sky that I've seen. Married to the most darling man, not ever one row there has been. My household tight and shining clean, no spiderwebs show on the ceiling. Laundry folded and put in the chests and with all the trash I'm dealing. Always paying my bills on time, food on the table at six o'clock. Obeydiant children who never moan and never I found a single sock. I hear you gasp in ahh's and ohh's, wondering how I manage so fine. I plead quilty my dear friends, in this poem I've lied in every line.

Haha - I was beginning to wonder if you were pulling our legs!

Yes I was totally pulling your legs, sorry. We live in a little old farmhouse with spiders and webs all over the place. I like spiders, they're interesting and very useful creatures catching all the flies and other bugs. I think I could open a store for single socks and yes there's a lot of dust because we don't have central heating but coal and wood stoves. We always had cats and dogs in the house. I have way more interesting things to fill my days than playing housewife all day long or clean the windows every week. I really don't care what others think or say.

@TitiaG Good for you. I feel much the same. I'd much prefer to be doing something outdoors than doing housework.

Funny, I don't like spiders but I'm too lazy to kill them so they're good until they land on me. I once freaked out when one landed on me and threw it on my sleeping husband who woke up and freaked out and threw it across the room . I have gotten to the point where I just wear mismatched socks because I no longer care and am tired of throwing out and buying new socks and I'm pretty sure my husband and I argue more than is necessary.

Nah, not my house either. 'My household tight and shining clean, no spiderwebs show on the ceiling.' Yup, none of those for me. Deep cleaning is for the weekend. 'Laundry folded and put in the chests' I hate folding laundry. Most of them are hang. Or maybe because I am just lazy at times
