Carolina is having a friend over tonight. She has been with me in spite of her work. So I sent her home with those small round pieces of bread and thinly sliced roast beef to make little sandwiches. I also explained the many easy uses you can give to that bread. I also gave her half of the banana bread and did not give her leche flan because she could spill Claudia´s car. She said the I had "saved" her. I´m glad. I will start taking more care about my muscle atrophy. It has been difficult with my being alone all this year. I can´t walk alone any longer. Carolina will send me a link with exercises to do.

When muscles are exercised every day, the atrophy can be stopped.

@marguicha Even just lifting up books with you hand. Or lifting one foot then the other foot, while sitting in a chair.

I have a problem with muscle loss. I guess it is a side product of being alone at home.

@marguicha A lot of things can cause muscle loss. Not staying active is one of the major ones. Exercising regurally will help with that.

I just read about the scientific name and it seems that I HAVE to do some exercise. The other problematic factor is no eating well but that is not my case.

@marguicha you can do calf raises while sitting down and knee extension. If tolerable with you, you can put on some ankle weights too

That was good that you were able to give that food to Claudia. I am sorry you are having difficulties. My right knee seems to be causing me problems and at times it shoots out pain and I had to stop and then bend it to get it back in walking order. I am bound and determined to start going out more very slowly of course but working my knee. I wish the best for you.

It seems that exercise is the only thing that helps if it is not due to malnutrition (not my case).
