WHAT???? You might think that something is definitely askew here with today’s entry on my list of favorite Neil Diamond songs. I know, it does seem like this song should be a little higher on the list. Now, that would be playing favorites, wouldn’t it? And I’d never do that....
#4: Kentucky Woman
But three cheers to the New York City boy for giving us a shoutout!!!
One of those “everybody knows,” “sing along” classics that Diamond gave us way back in 1967. And we’re still singing along....in Kentucky, and everywhere else!
It’s not my fault the three songs ahead of this on the countdown don’t have “Kentucky” in the title.
Enjoy!

Aw, you’re just jealous that it wasn’t “New Jersey Woman.”

@FourWalls Hey I'm happy with Springsteen's "Jersey Girl" even though I'm not a big fan of his music. I love that song!

A Neil favorite of mine. Looks like Kentucky has more to offer than baseball bats, thoroughbred horses and college basketball royalty.

Saw Neil in concert in the 80's. I don't remember if he sang that one, but it's a good one.
