The importance of 5 minutes for me

I always wake up around 4.30 am everyday. But I also set my alarm at 5.10. A week ago I will wake up and go to bathroom, but lately I am just being lazy. 4.30 am I still on my bed, and tell my self 5 minutes more, 4.35 am and I still tell myself 5 minutes more. It repeats until 5.20 am. I don't know if it's because of chilli morning or maybe I am just lazy. Are you someone who wake up instantly or someone who like to do '5 minutes more'?

@Cheyee I stay until 5 am, if I wake up at 4:55 it's "Only 5 minutes" and I make up in less than 5 minutes... my husband hats to wat.

Your 5 minutes reminds me of 5 minutes make up. 5 minutes which isn't 5 minutes

I'm one of those people, who even if I need to use the bathroom, will laze about in bed until I just can't. It takes a while for me to open my eyes, and decide if I really want to move or not.

@Cheyee I do that every morning after hubby leaves. Chilly and I cuddle for a few hours, until mother nature demands I leave the bed.

Most alarm clocks in the US, including the ones in the smartphones, have a nine-minute “snooze” feature. Five minutes just won’t do it!

@Cheyee — I’m more like “27 minutes more.”

I know that features, but here the gap is 10 minutes, not 9. Is that mean you are '9 minutes more' person?

I remedied this problem. My problem is that now I am a sleep walker I stumble to the bathroom in my sleep. I make coffee in my my sleep and I go back to bed.

Every hour I might wake up, but fall asleep again because there's nothing I can do in the morning if it's not yet 7 o'clock.

Nope, I don't do that. I'll be sleepier and next thing I know an hour has passed. That's a dangerous game to play.

I always have two alarms, 10 minutes apart. I need the first alarm to jolt me, and the second one 10 minutes after to hopefully fully awake me. Sometimes I get up on the first alarm. The second one is just an insurance.

What time is you usually awake? Normally i just wake up without alarm, I set the alarm for my husband. But since I woke up later than usual, he also wakes up little bit late
